If you have health insurance, how do you file a claim?

Emergency Hospitalization
- Just provide your policy number and the insurer's name at the network hospital desk in the event of an emergency hospitalization.

- You must notify your insurer three days before to your scheduled hospital stay or surgery if treatment is planned.
- You can go to a network hospital, ask them to notify the insurance company on your behalf, and provide them with your policy number and insurer.
- However, since insurance companies may take some time to verify the authenticity of your request, you should definitely think about doing so if you can do so sooner.
- You may need to file for reimbursement if you are unable to locate a network hospital that meets your needs or if the cashless claim is denied. In this scenario, you pay the entire cost of treatment and then request reimbursement from the insurance company.
